Bonded Sender Reports Increasing Email Deliverability by Nearly 21 Percent
| Bonded Sender Reports Increasing Email Deliverability by Nearly 21 Percent Return Path recently released results of a study indicating its Bonded Sender Program increases email deliverability rates by an average of 20.6 percent. Return Path clients using both Bonded Sender and Return Path’s Mailbox Monitor delivery monitoring service experienced delivery increases of between 14.5 percent and 24.9 percent at Hotmail, MSN, and Roadrunner. The average inbox reach for Bonded Sender participants surpasses 95 percent. The Bonded Sender Program works as a whitelist, by putting companies through an extensive accreditation process to verify that they follow email best practices and have low complaint rates. Once accepted, companies post a financial bond to back up their claims of sending only wanted email. TRUSTe provides certification, third-party oversight, and dispute resolution services for the program, monitoring sender complaint rates and auditing compliance with program standards. Currently, more than 35,000 domains representing more than 250 million email inboxes use the Bonded Sender Program.
