TRUSTe operates an online alternative dispute resolution system called the privacy Watchdog, which satisfactorily resolves more than 2,000 consumer complaints every year. Individuals are invited to use the Watchdog system if they feel a TRUSTe member has violated their privacy promises, or to report unauthorized seal use. TRUSTe publishes monthly reports on Watchdogs received and resolved. When appropriate, we post advisories on escalated investigations and subsequent satisfactory resolution or termination.
